Community Navigators will be part of a large neighborhood effort to collect stories, feedback, insights, hopes and dreams as they relate to the future of Garfield Park.
These outreach efforts will help build a new Quality of Life Plan; a plan by, for and accountable to the Garfield Park community.
Community Navigators will complete training on how to conduct conversational interviews with those who live and work in Garfield Park.
They will be paid to conduct 2 interviews per week and report back what they heard and learned. Navigators will also train 2 cohorts of peers to conduct similar interviews throughout the summer.
